Kicking off the 2021 NFL season for CBS Sports with a *Top Gun* parody

NFL ON CBS: READY FOR TAKEOFF

CBS Sports asked Hero4Hire to re-imagine today’s NFL stars as characters in a takeoff (get it?) of the 1986 classic Top Gun to coincide with the release of the long-awaited sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.

Unfortunately, that film’s release date was moved 5 times (thanks, COVID) before finally reaching theatres in May of 2022, by which time Russell Wilson wasn’t a Seahawk anymore and Tom Brady had already pump-faked his retirement.
